Y’all, my Academy Award-winning sister, Cynthia Wade, made a gorgeous, gutting documentary film, Grit, about environmental justice. It’s been screened all over the world. It aired on PBS/POV. It racked up oodles and oodles of awards, just as (literally) all her other films have. Now it’s got an Emmy nod, too.

I’m telling you: she is GOOD.
